Ikhwezi Training Institute Pty Ltd was founded on the premise of capacity building and service excellence. Africa is a rich continent with natural resources, but human development is lacking. As a result, we are not reaping the benefits of having such resources.

Our Certificate courses are aimed at career needs of individuals. These are vocational courses that cover multiple skills in full-time and part-time formats over a couple of months.

Our full and short courses offer in-depth coverage of specific, focused skills and usually 2-5 days in length.

Consulting

We offer consulting services in the following specialist areas: This entails assessment of your organization’s training needs and recommending the skills programme(s) that your employees need to undertake in order to increase their performance. We assist the employers our clients to complete Workplace Skills Plan so that they can source funding timely from the relevant SETA. This also includes skills audits.

Job Profiling and Grading


This includes the following services:
  • Conducting interviews and writing job profiles for every job in your organisation;
  • Reviewing and updating existing job profiles;
  • Training your managers on how to develop job profiles and grade jobs; and
  • Evaluating jobs to determine their worth to the organisation relative to other jobs within the organisation.

Recruitment and Selection

We provide innovative recruitment solutions to our clients to ensure they can attract talent to the organisation. Our solutions are customised based on our client’s needs. Additional services include conducting reference checks and verification of candidate information i.e. qualifications etc.

Remuneration Analysis

This entails analysis of your remuneration practices and development of remuneration strategies in line with your organisational strategy to ensure that your organisation can attract and retain talent. We assist our clients in the design of pay scales that include guidelines for progression of pay in your organisation and considers internal equity and consistency when making pay decisions.

Performance Management

This entails development of a performance culture, aligned with your strategic objectives. We assist our clients in developing performance management policy, processes and/or reviewing existing ones. This includes development of performance contracts and training employees thereof to ensure efficient implementation and skills are retained in the organisation.

Employment Equity

This entails development and implementation of employment equity plans and submission of required reports to the Department of Labour.

Outsourced HR Consulting Service

We provide HR services to our clients as opposed to you employing a full-time HR body. This enables the organisation to focus on its core business. We assist you with daily HR activities such as employee relations, recruitment and selection training, performance management, benefits and payroll administration. We build strong relationships with employees and management.

Skills Development Facilitator

Responsible for the planning, implementation and reporting of training in an organisation, with Seta- related duties.

As Your Skills Development Facilitator Will Render The Following Services:

  • Skills Audit & Training Needs Analysis
  • Completion and submission of Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR)
  • Implementation of Workplace Skills Plan
  • Claiming SDL levies
  • SETA Funding Application (Discretionary Grants, Internship, Skills Programme and Learnership Applications)
  • Act as a contact between SETA and the Company
  • Advise the company on the quality assurance requirements set by the SETA
  • Represent the company during the site visit by the SETA
  • Manage training projects
  • Recruit unemployed learners for learnerships and internships
